The PETRO SNCR System

Selective Non Catalytic Reduction systems for NOx abatement and the Waste Incineration Directive.

The WASTE INCINERATION REGULATIONS came into force on 28th December 2002. They transpose the Waste Incineration Directive, 2000/76/EC (WID) and incorporate the requirements of the 1989 Municipal Waste Incineration (MWI) and the 1994 Hazardous Waste Incineration Directives.

The Waste Incineration Directive applies to incineration and co-incineration plants and imposes very stringent emissions monitoring and control. In particular the maximum daily average value for NOx emission in incinerator plant is 200mg/m³. (www.defra.gov.uk)

The PETRO SNCR system is fully automatic and designed for safe and reliable operation. It features a well proven modular design using PLC control as standard. Each system is fully functionally tested prior to delivery to ensure rapid installation and commissioning at site.

INJECTORS

INJECTORS
- The injectors are of a special design developed by Petro Miljö. They feature injection angel and range adjustment to ensure coverage of the whole cross section of the furnace. They are also designed for quick release for inspection and replacement of injector tip.
PROCESS UNIT
BLENDING MODULE – The blending module includes valves and instrumentation to produce the required concentration and quantity of reduction agent and softened water.
TANK

TANK
– Twin wall stainless steel tanks hold reduction agent, either ammonia hydroxide or urea.
